2005 MID USA Falun Dafa experience sharing conference and related activities will be held on June 24, 25 and 26, 2005 in Chicago, Illinois USA. Some small scale events will also be held at the same time. Practitioners from other regions and countries are welcomed to participate. Invitation letter for Visa can be obtained here. Event 1: Chinatown Rally and Parade

10:00AM – 12:00PM

Rally and Parade in Chinatown: “Quitting CCP”

Rally location: W Cermak Rd At S Wentworth Ave Chicago, IL 60616

Rally Participants: limited to 400, practitioners from MI, MO, MN, OH, CA

Dress code: Business causal

11:00AM – 11:30AM

Parade Start address: W 24th Pl At S Wentworth Ave, Chicago, IL 60616

Parade Ends at Chinese rally place.

Parade Participants: limited to 800, practitioners from Canada, other MID-USA area, NY/NJ, DC, Atlanta

Items to bring: Chinese Banners supporting 9ping and quitting CCP

After Chinatown event, please go to Federal Plaza. Federal Plaza Press conference will start at 1:30PM. If you take CTA subway to Federal Plaza, it will take about 15 mins. So you can have a quick lunch at Chinatown before you go to Federal Plaza (From Chinatown CTA station take red line to Howard direction and get off at Jackson Station, then walk west one block to Dearborn and then one block north to Federal Plaza.).

Event 2: Morning Exercise, Press Conference at Federal Plaza, and Dafa Parade

Items to bring

1) Banners for the parade and wall of courage, such as Falun Dafa, Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, Falun Dafa is Good, Global Rescue, Bring Jxx to Justice, etc.

2) Country Falun Dafa signs such as Falun Dafa from Canada, Falun Dafa from Taiwan, etc. for the parade.

3) Display boards for parade, if you can bring them with you.

Fahui 9:00AM – 6:00PM

Please Note:

1) We will not offer lunch during Fahui. There are a few restaurants nearby, we will provide map on the Fahui site. You can also bring your own lunch but you can only eat it outside of the building. To ensure the solemnity of our Fahui, please don't bring any food with strong odors.

2) The conference on Sunday is admission-by-ticket-only. Tickets can be obtained from your local assistants on Sat. night and Sunday. morning；

3) No personal video camera is allowed in the conference room. Only appointed groups in each area could have cameras in the designated area in the conference room. Cameramen must wear permission tags to operate the cameras.

4) Children under 6 years old are to stay in the Kids' Room, where simultaneous broadcast of the conference is available.

5) Please put your luggage in the kids’ Room. No bags are allowed in the conference room (except small handbags).

6) Please do not walk around in or leave the conference room during the conference.

7) Please bring your own FM Radio to receive simultaneous translation at the Fa Conference.

8) Please keep in close contact with your local assistants.

Chicago is a big city with advanced public transportation. In the downtown area, Subway CTA is highly recommended.  If your hotel is close to any station of Subway CTA, you don't have to rent a car. If not, it is very necessary to rent a car. We also provide some limited help in transportation.
